Position Summary

The RN assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, maintains medical records, administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, and advises on health maintenance and disease prevention. The RN monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions, administers medications, and monitors for reactions and side effects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
