Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking an Acute Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) in Brownsburg, Indiana for a 13-week assignment. Competitive pay at $50/hr with flexible scheduling and a start around October.

Expect alternating weekends and holiday coverage, plus referral bonus and ongoing training. Responsibilities include organizing and delivering nursing care to patients with varying needs, planning and directing care per hospital policies, and documenting progress while maintaining a calm,

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
• Minimum 2 years of related nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficient in taking vital signs and administering medications.
• Active BLS, TB test, and other facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver care to a group of patients with needs of varying complexity.
• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to hospital policies.
• Provide basic bedside care.

As an Acute Care RN, you will:

• Organize and deliver the care of a group of patients with needs of varying complexity.
• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department.
• Provide basic, bedside care
• Document patient progress, completed care, and interventions in compliance with facility policies
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters emotional well being

A few must haves for the Acute Care RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed with in the state of Indiana
• 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
• Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
• Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
