Brio Living Services in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift. Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with a caring team to deliver high-quality geriatric care. Includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and night/weekend premiums.

Shift: 40 hours weekly, nights 6pm–6:15am, rotating schedule, no weekends. Salary is $39.48–$46.91 per hour with additional premiums for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• RN license required; CPR or BLS certification mandatory.
• BSN preferred; associate degree considered with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications.
• Lead and collaborate with care team to ensure personalized care for residents.
• Monitor and document residents’ health, vitals, and responses to treatments.
• Develop and adjust care plans with the clinical team.
• Support admissions and discharges as directed.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.

Shift Premiums

Nights (11:00 pm-6:59 am) $2.00, Weekend (Fri 11:00 pm-Sun 10:59 pm) $0.50

Pay Range

$39.48 - $46.91/hr. (This rate includes an additional $3.40 per hour. The Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through program is approved through September 30, 2026; however, this additional pay will continue through September 30, 2027.)

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at our five-star community, you’ll provide direct, hands‑on care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring overall health. You’ll lead and collaborate with a supportive care team to ensure each resident receives personalized, high‑quality care. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Direct Nursing Care – Administer medications, perform treatments, monitor vital signs and wound care.
• Conduct Health Assessments – Evaluate residents and report changes in condition to the clinical team.
• Monitor and Adjust Care Plans – Observe residents for adverse reactions or side effects and update care plans accordingly.
• Coordinate Interdisciplinary Care – Work with teams to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Supervise and Mentor Staff – Oversee nursing assistants and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Document Resident Care – Complete daily and monthly records accurately, reflecting care provided and resident responses.
• Manage Admissions and Discharges – Perform admission and discharge procedures as directed.
• Maintain Medical Records – Keep accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Ensure Safety and Infection Control – Follow all protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Prevent Spread of Illness – Adhere to proper infection control procedures at all times.
• Engage in Ongoing Education – Maintain certifications and stay current with best practices.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but we’ll consider an Associate degree if paired with relevant experience.
• Licensure: Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to ensure participant safety.
• Experience with Seniors: Prior experience working with elderly individuals or in geriatric care is highly valued.
• Care Setting Experience: Background in skilled nursing or long-term care environments is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds independently.
