Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health NP or PA for a 100% outpatient Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. Typical hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with no after-hours call, treating 15–21 patients daily using Epic EMR.

Base salary ranges from $126,000 to $158,000 with an annual incentive opportunity and comprehensive benefits. Board-certified Women’s Health is preferred; NP/PA licensure in California required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Women’s Health or related NP/PA experience; 3+ years preferred
• 1+ year obstetrics experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon)
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout pregnancy
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Education

California NP license / PA license

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
