Job summary

West Boca Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shift in Florida. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care, administer specialized care, and document findings in the electronic health record.

The role includes supervision of assigned personnel and adherence to state nursing regulations. Minimum requirements include an Associate's degree in nursing and Florida RN licensure, plus certifications (AHA, PALS, NRP, BLS).

Qualifications

• Assists in safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Compliance with Florida RN license and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients using the nursing process.
• Administer specialized nursing care per unit and treatment plan.
• Review orders/tests and document care accurately in the EHR.
• Guide and supervise assigned staff delivering patient care.

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Registered Nurse provides safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. Administers and performs specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment for patient. Specialized nursing care utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards. Responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering said patient care. Adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Associates degree from a Nursing program
• License: Florida RN License
• Certifications: American Heart Association, PALS, NRP, & BLS card

Preferred Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Experience: Minimum 1 year licensed nursing practice on a NICU unit
