Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Full Time day shift RN for the NICU, with 3x12 hour shifts per week in a newly renovated 16-bed, Level III NICU.

You will care for premature and newborns with special needs alongside board-certified neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and nutritionists, in a collaborative, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience including 1 year in NICU.
• BSN is required; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• RN license or eligible to practice in Virginia.

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Full Time (3x12 hour shifts/week) day shift RN for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Inova Alexandria Hospital (IAH) offers a newly renovated, 16-bed, Level III NICU. Newborns who are premature or have special needs are well care for around the clock in out centered NICU by specially trained, board-certified neonatologists as well as specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and nutritionists.

RN NICU Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience to include at least 1 year in NICU
• Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. Applicants with an Associate's Degree (ADN) must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.

RN NICU Preferred Qualifications

• 2 plus years of NICU experience
