Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) New Grad in Nephrology Oncology (NEON) to join our team in Hickory, NC. This full-time day position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus eligibility and a schedule of three 12-hour shifts.

You will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, document medical necessity, and contribute to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. New grads are supported with development opportunities and a strong clinical team.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
