Pay range for this position is $36.68-$54.40/hour. Actual pay depends on years of licensure. This is an hourly position.

This position also includes a weekend differential of $3.25/hr.

$7,500 with a 2-year work commitment (applicable to new graduates and external candidates).

Position Summary

The RN Operating Room protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of a Registered Nurse licensure. Collaborates with surgeons and providers on a multidisciplinary care team, assesses intra-operative patient needs, provides psychological support, and communicates effectively with patients and families. Supports family needs, mentors team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professionalism.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification prior to employment start date.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and solid computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree.
• At least 6 months of RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications.
