Job summary

MedStar Health seeks an RN for the Neuro Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. The role supports 48 private rooms, including 20 telemetry beds, with patient care across stroke, seizures, neuro-surgical and respiratory cases.

Shifts are straight 12-hour, day or night, with every 3rd weekend. The unit emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based nursing care within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support required.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.

This RN position is for Full Time positions for both new graduate and experienced nurses on the Neuro Telemetry unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.

About The Job

Neurological-Telemetry/ Medical-Surgical Unit

48-Bed all private rooms including 20 telemetry beds

Types of neurological patients: stroke, seizure, brain mass, neuro-surg and demyelinating diseases

Types of med- surg patients focus is respiratory but service the general med-surg population

Straight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend schedule

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

This position has a hiring range of
