AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Night shift on the PCU Multisystem 3 unit in Orlando. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and patient education in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Florida) and CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based programs and clinical documentation systems.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings is preferred.

Job Description

Unit Highlights

PCU Multisystem 3 (3E) is a multisystem unit which provides the opportunity for our nurses to care for a broad spectrum of patients. This will provide a firm foundation for understanding for a variety of processes and experience a little bit of everything. Our unit is designed to grow nurses. This is where the foundation of nursing can be learned and used as a stepping stone to PCU or ICU within the Orlando campus.

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours per week Shift :Nights, 7pm-7am

Primary Responsibilites

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
