Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced RN for the Intensive Care Unit (MSICU). The RN delivers care to critically ill patients and coordinates complex treatment plans.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, creating care plans, managing invasive monitors and drips, and ensuring hemodynamic stability with appropriate sedation. Night shift; 36 hours per week, rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut.
• Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• ACLS certification, support available for certification post-hire.

Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) delivers patient care to individuals in critical condition.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Staff RN position; pay range: $36.15 – $59.95/hour
  • Pay is based on working RN experience only. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

• Unit-based specialty pay is available for experienced nurses with one or more years of RN experience
