Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department in Charlotte seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 24/7 ED. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering comprehensive nursing care, with a strong emphasis on safety, evidence-based practice, and patient experience.

Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department, a facility of Atrium Health University City, provides 24-hour emergency medical services to the Northwest Charlotte area. This freestanding ED treats patients of all ages, from minor injuries to critical conditions such as heart attacks and strokes, with care delivered by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and the full support of Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center, the region’s only Level I trauma center. The department features six emergency rooms open 24/7, including one dedicated trauma room, a three-bay triage area, and two observation beds, along with on‑site imaging services such as CT, ultrasound, fixed and portable X-ray, as well as laboratory and pharmacy support to ensure comprehensive patient care.
