Main Line Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry with relocation assistance if not local. This full-time, night-shift role offers a compensation range of $44.13–$68.84/hour plus a $7.00/hr night shift differential across multiple PA locations.

Responsibilities

• Telemetry / Step Down Unit: care for high-acuity patients with lower RN-to-patient ratios.
• Clinical Decision Unit: work with patients from ER to broaden clinical skills and leadership potential.
• Telemetry/Oncology Unit: oncology focus with potential for certification; hospital supports education.
• Telemetry/Cardiac Unit: rotate to cardiac care and educate patients on heart health.
• Medical Surgical / Telemetry / Orthopedic Unit: mix of general admissions, telemetry, and orthopedic recovery care.

Key details

As a part of our Interdisciplinary Team working alongside PCTs, educators, unit secretaries, and other support professionals, your care and treatment of our patients is an integral part of their overall experience. Many of our Med‑Surg/Telemetry units are paired with specialties so we can focus on our patients' needs, based on their diagnosis.

• Telemetry / Step Down Unit - caring for a patient population either coming from or going to the ICU setting. High acuity patients and low RN to patio ratios allow for quality care and the development of skills. This unit is ideal for any candidate ready to take the next step toward critical care.
• Clinical Decision Unit - looking for a diverse patient population to build your clinical skills and find a specialty that may be your calling? On the CDU, you will work with patients from the ER and will learn a range of skills to help take care of our patients. This unit can also help you take the next step in your nursing leadership career since you will be exposed to all areas of the hospital and gain the knowledge to help the hospital function seamlessly.
• Telemetry/Oncology Unit - a full unit with a certified oncology focus. Hospice care is also offered in this unit to tend to patient needs. Drip/IV skills are taught and all nurses on this unit can become certified in oncology, paid in full by MLH.
• Telemetry/Cardiac Unit - is your heart in cardiac care? This unit is for you! You would have the ability to rotate to the area of the hospital that cares for our community's 75+ population. Help us educate our patients on how to care for themselves and their loved ones from congestive heart failure, stroke, and other cardiac procedures.
• Medical Surgical / Telemetry / Orthopedic Unit - a strong mix of experience in general admissions, telemetry, and orthopedic recovery care.

Licensures/Certifications

1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact OR able to secured PA licensure (including temporary) prior to start.

2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
