Atrium Health Mercy in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced RN to join the 6 South Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. The unit cares for COPD, pneumonia, diabetic ulcers, pancreatitis, abdominal pain, altered mental status, and ESRD, with drains, wound vacs, central lines, NGTs, and other surgical care.

You will deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and lead safety and quality efforts to create the best patient experience across the continuum.

Qualifications

• 1 year inpatient nursing experience preferred.
• At least 6 months required outside of New Grad residency.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsabilités

  Where You Will Work:

  
  

  6 South is a 34-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. Most common diagnoses are COPD Pneumonia Diabetic Ulcer Pancreatitis, Abdominal Pain Altered mental status, ESRD A Nurse on our Unit will gain experience in drains of all kinds, wound vacs, central lines, NGT, DHT, and all surgical things!
