Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices in Mayfield, KY is looking for a dedicated Med Surg RN for a Fulltime Nights schedule from 7p to 7a with every third weekend. This role offers a sign-on bonus and involves providing exceptional care in the Med/Surg unit at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, BLS certification within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS within six months. We offer comprehensive benefits, financial protection, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely documentation relating to medical necessity.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you are part of a mission dedicated to making communities healthier. You will provide exceptional care to patients on the Med/Surg unit at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

How you'll contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we’re looking for

• RN license required
