Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent- The Medical Center in Macon, GA invites a skilled RN to join a 30-bed 7Heart unit serving acute and chronic cardiac conditions. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and an active Georgia RN license, with BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire. Cardiac/critical care experience is preferred.

You will provide coordinated patient care and use evidence-based practice to ensure a safe environment and excellent patient experience across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the state where you practice
• BLS for Healthcare Providers cert.
• ACLS certification expected within 6 months of hire date

Our 30-bed 7Heart unit specializes in patients with acute and chronic disease processes, including, but not limited to, congestive heart failure patients and cardiology patients requiring diagnostic testing and state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical interventions for atrial fibrillation and other dysrhythmias. 7HT also extends care and treatment to patients suffering from other organ system diseases and supports med/surg overflow patients.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
