Job summary

Community Health Network is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical C Unit North. The night shift runs 7:00pm–7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week, with every third weekend and holiday rotation.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care in a 30-bed unit, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and collaboration with a dedicated care team. The RN will provide care across the healthcare continuum, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and hospital goals, while supporting operations efficiency

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program, or three years of related professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the 30-bed Medical C Unit in alignment with professional standards and hospital mission.
• Demonstrate collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management to deliver safe, cost-effective care.
• Care for a diverse patient population including GI bleeds, respiratory, renal, dementia, and medical-surgical cases.

Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources. As part of the 30-bed Medical C Unit, you are deeply committed to providing patient-centered care and outstanding service delivered with respect. Your expertise will allow you to care for a wide range of patient types such as gastrointestinal bleeds, respiratory, renal, dementia, some cardiac and medical surgical to achieve the best possible outcomes while enhancing operation efficiency for Community Health Network.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
