Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care on a 16-bed medical-surgical unit. You will coordinate patient care across the health care continuum, ensuring safe, cost-effective practices and collaborating with the care team.

Responsibilities include admissions, assessments, medication administration, and patient education, with emphasis on outcomes and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse with Indiana license per NLC requirements.

• Manage patient care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Provide care to general med/surg patients on a 16-bed unit, including admissions, assessments, administering medications, and patient education.

Make a Difference

Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources. The Registered Nurse will provide care to general med/surg patients on a 16-bed unit. Performing duties that include but not limited to admissions, assessments, administering medication and patient education.

Exceptional Skills And Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
