Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care on a 14-bed unit focused on heart, lung, GI, stroke, Covid and dialysis. The role requires collaboration, delegation, and resource management to maintain safety and quality outcomes.

The RN will work two 12-hour shifts per week as part of a day shift schedule, with every third weekend coverage. Indiana licensure is required, and the team emphasizes compassionate, community-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from NLN/CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accredited nursing program, or three years related nursing experience.
• Licensed as an RN in Indiana with a valid license under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Make a Difference

Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources. The Registered Nurse will assist patients with obtaining a better quality of life by delivering care to patients with chronic and acute diseases of the heart, lung, GI, stroke, Covid and dialysis on a 14-bed unit.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
