Job summary

Mobile Health Team Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, VT. Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour guarantee.

Start Date: 11/1/2026. Hourly pay $28.70 with a non-taxed stipend of $1,246 weekly and total weekly pay of $2,020.90. Must have 2+ years med/surg tele care, PCU/ICU experience preferred, and CHARGE, ACLS, and BLS certifications. Willing to float to other inpatient units as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CURRENT med surg/tele experience.
• Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly required; ICU experience strongly preferred
• DRIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
• Must have CHARGE EXPERIENCE
• Traveler must have own vehicle
• Willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required
• Experience with Insulin drips, emolol drips and sodium drips
• Active ACLS certification and BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Monitoring post-operative patients’ recovery and providing updates to the treatment team.
• Treating pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms and administering prescribed meds.
• Regularly checking vital signs to intercept issues and ensure recovery.
• Keeping dressings clean, dry, and safe.
• Educating patients and families on post-surgery care and answering questions.
• Updating charts and medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring post-operative patients’ levels of recovery and consciousness from anesthesia and providing updates to the treatment team as needed.
• Treating pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia and administering medication as prescribed.
• Regularly checking vital signs to quickly intercept any potential issues and ensure a smooth recovery.
• Keeping bandages, dressings, etc. clean, dry, and safe.
• Educating patients and their families on post-surgery care, as well as answering questions.
• Updating charts, patient files, and medical records.

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years of CURRENT med surg/tele experience
• Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly required; ICU experience strongly preferred
• DRIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
• Must have CHARGE EXPERIENCE
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
• TRAVELER MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO ANY INPATIENT UNIT WITHIN THEIR SCOPE OF PRACTICE
• MINIMUM 3 months previous travel experience is required
• Must have experience with Insulin drips, emolol drips and sodium drips
• Must have Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
