Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care across the nursing process, ensuring safety and therapeutic outcomes. You will work within a high-performing team focused on best practices, patient satisfaction, and evidence-based care in a Telemetry Med-Surg setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the practice state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience; not for new grads.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Where You Will Work:

• 5 Pine is a 32 bed Telemetry Med-Surg unit with a focus on Stroke and Neuro adult populations. We also have 2 EMU designated beds for monitoringSeizure/Epilepsy patients.

• We are a high performing team that practices nursing autonomy by utilising best practices and policies and procedures to provide the best care to our patients.

• We have an active Unit Practice Council that leads process improvement changes with the input of teammates in the department.

• We strive for a cohesive team environment that is focused on team engagement, patient satisfaction, learning and growing as we continue to make our team successful.

Expectations We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
