Novant Health’s Stroke and Neuro Unit is hiring compassionate nurses to care for patients with acute stroke, seizures, and complex neurological conditions. You’ll work in a team focused on rapid decision-making, high-quality care, and patient-centered recovery, from acute interventions to long-term support.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Nursing, be licensed as an RN in the appropriate state, and have 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualificações

• RN licensure in the appropriate state is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; 4-year/Bachelor's degree preferred.
• If license inactive for 5+ years with no licensure elsewhere, a Board-approved refresher is required.

Responsabilidades

• Caring for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, and neuromuscular disorders
• Administering and titrating IV medications, blood products, and specialized drips
• Supporting patients through acute stroke protocols, including thrombolytic therapy and post-thrombectomy care
• Monitoring neurological status and identifying early changes in condition
• Providing patient and family education on recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term disease management

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
