Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a skilled RN to join our Telemetry Med-Surg unit focused on Stroke and Neuro adult patients. You will provide and coordinate patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in line with our standards and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice and clear communication, you will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience, while growing with a collaborative, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience; not for new grads.
• RN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice.

Where You Will Work:

• 5 Pine is a32 bedTelemetry Med-Surg unit with a focus on Stroke and Neuro adult populations. We also have 2 EMU designated beds for monitoringSeizure/Epilepsy patients.

• We are a high performing team that practices nursing autonomy byutilizingbest practices and policies and procedures to provide the best care toour patients.

• We have an active Unit Practice Council that leadsprocess improvement changes with the input of teammates in the department.

• We strive for a cohesive team environment that is focused on team engagement, patient satisfaction,learning and growing as we continue to make our team successful.

ExpectationsWe’reLooking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
