Job summary

Advocate Health's Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5 Pine Telemetry Med-Surg unit. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensure safety, and support stroke and neurology patients with evidence-based practice.

This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, three 12-hour night shifts, holiday and weekend rotations, and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. Active RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice to ensure a safe patient environment and strong patient experience across the continuum.

A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

• 5 Pine is a 32 bed Telemetry Med-Surg unit with a focus on Stroke and Neuro adult populations. We also have 2 EMU designated beds for monitoringSeizure/Epilepsy patients.
• We are a high performing team that practices nursing autonomy by utilizing best practices and policies and procedures to provide the best care to our patients.
• We have an active Unit Practice Council that leads process improvement changes with the input of teammates in the department.

ExpectationsWe’reLooking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
