New graduate nurses and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply. The unit offers an 11‑week Transition to Practice (TTP) program and a comprehensive 6‑month residency program.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering competent nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation). The RN also adheres to professional performance standards including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health.
