Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking an experienced or new graduate RN for General Surgery 3W.

This full-time, night-shift role (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, coordinating care with other departments, and maintaining professional accountability.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following.
• Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or have compact licensure.
• Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
• Certifications: Required Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
