Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking an experienced RN for General Surgery 3W, night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, in St. Louis, MO. Full-time 36 hours/week with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, coordinating care, and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Seeking Experienced &New Graduate Nurses!

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred
• Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
