Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the General Surgery 3W unit. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with multiple departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality on night shift.

Experienced or new graduates are welcome. Full-time 36 hours/week, night shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses or up to $5,000 for new grads.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the listed degrees.
• Current Missouri RN license or compact licensure as per state rules.
• Previous hospital experience preferred depending on unit.
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Registered Nurse (RN) –General Surgery 3W

Seeking Experienced &New Graduate Nurses!

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Sign-On Bonus:

• Experienced Nurses: Up to$10,000
• New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience): Up to$5,000

Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred
• Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
