Mercy Hospital South is seeking an RN for General Surgery 3W to provide comprehensive patient care during night shifts. The role emphasizes utilizing the nursing process, coordinating with multiple departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Full-time schedule includes 36 hours per week with night shifts. Applicants may be experienced or new graduates; sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates are offered, along with Mercy’s

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma or BSN.
• Licensure: Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Experience: Hospital experience preferred; may be required for certain units.
• Certifications: BLS certification through American Heart Association (or to complete within 30 days of hire).

Seeking Experienced &New Graduate Nurses!

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Sign-On Bonus:

• Experienced Nurses: Up to$10,000
• New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience): Up to$5,000

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred
• Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
