Advocate Health's Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg 2 North at Aurora Oshkosh Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI, is seeking a skilled RN to provide comprehensive patient care on a fast-paced unit.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team, participate in shared decision-making, and take part in orientation and opportunities to float across Med/Surg units to broaden experience. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and state RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and collaborate in a team-based care model
  • Commitment to professional development and participation in shared decision-making
  • Flexibility to float to other Med/Surg units as needed
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

We’re Looking For:
