Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, WI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our emergency department team. You'll collaborate with highly skilled staff to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to both adult and pediatric patients.

This role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Wisconsin, and BLS certification; prior emergency department or EMS experience is preferred. ACLS/PALS/TNCC certification progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• One year RN experience preferred or candidates with prior emergency medical services health care experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Staff provide care for adult and pediatric patients experiencing the following: acute trauma with injury, acute illnesses, and exacerbations of chronic health care conditions, women's health issues, and behavioral health concerns. Partner with a highly skilled team of Emergency Nursing staff who value strong relationships as part of a collaborative team to positively impact patient care.
