Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. You will manage a group of patients, aligning needs with your nursing competencies and completing required competencies during the introductory period.

The role requires active Texas RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within specified timelines, with Non-Violent Crisis Intervention for Behavioral Health within 60 days if applicable. Sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Active Texas RN license.
• BLS provider certification (ARC or AHA) to be maintained on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days.
• ACLS (AHA) must be completed within 60 days for Dialysis.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention for Behavioral Health must be obtained within 60 days for Behavioral Health.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• None for Med/Surg and Behavioral Health
• 1 year in acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg
• 2 years in psychiatric facility for Behavioral Health
• 2 years acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE

• Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
• For RN in Behavioral Health: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into department

REQUIRED CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR)

• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Dialysis Department: In addition to Basic Life Support, ACLS (AHA) must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the unit.
