Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a Night Shift Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse in Montclair, NJ. You will provide bedside nursing care for adult MED-SURG patients, including bariatrics and oncology as described, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethical standards.

Requirements include graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing program, a minimum of 2 years of acute care Med-Surg experience, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education; may include differentials and call pay based on role.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical (Bariatrics/Oncology) will be responsible for providing nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
