Ardent Health Services seeks a Night Shift, PRN Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse in Montclair, NJ. The RN will deliver comprehensive patient care within the Med-Surg unit, focusing on Bariatrics and Oncology populations, while adhering to facility standards and ethical codes.

Requirements include NLN-accredited nursing education, 2+ years Med-Surg experience, and BLS within two weeks of hire. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of clinical medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into role.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics.
• Deliver care for Medical/Surgical patients (Bariatrics/Oncology) in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical (Bariatrics/Oncology) will be responsible for providing nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
