Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a Night Shift, PRN Med-Surgical Registered Nurse for 4 West in Westwood, NJ. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, develop care plans with patients and families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program, hold a NJ RN license, and be BLS certified within 14 days of hire. Preferred: BSN and 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or multistate license.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care, developing nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary and communicating changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing or RN Multistate License from the NCL.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1-year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• BSN
• Experience with patient safety best practices

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
