Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Brighton is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit. This role includes supporting critical care with a focus on patient-centered care and may require night shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a current Michigan RN license and a preference for a BSN degree. Comprehensive benefits including daily pay options and tuition reimbursement are available from day one.

Qualifications

• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS and ACLS certification as required for specific departments.
• Experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in critical care.

Location: Livingston- Brighton New Hospital

Employment Type: Full time

Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift

Description: Registered Nurse supporting the 10 bed 3 South surgical unit and/or the 19-bed acuity adaptable blended unit. Minimum rate of pay: $35.64 PLUS Daily PAY. This role supports our Critical Care Unit and is suitable for those with CCU or PCU/Step-Down experience.

Required Qualifications

Education

Graduation from a school of nursing that qualifies the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred.

Licensure

• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS.
• ACLS required for the following departments: Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency, and PCU at Livingston.

Experience

Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply.

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age specific needs.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care.

Shift

Night Shifts 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Full‑Time; Part‑time. Midnights every third weekend and rotating holidays. Required for Full‑time and Part‑time team members.
