Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare and Bluff Recovery in Augusta, GA are seeking a compassionate PRN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role offers day and night shifts with flexible scheduling to support adults in substance use and mental health treatment.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, crisis response, and collaborative care with the medical team. GA RN or LPN licensure, CPR/BLS, and First Aid are required; behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license in Georgia.
• Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, detox, or co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments for new admissions.
• Administer medications and follow detoxification and withdrawal management protocols.
• Perform COWS and CIWA assessments as clinically appropriate.
• Monitor clients and communicate changes in condition to the medical team.
• Provide medication education and general health education to clients.
• Support medical providers with assessments, medication management, and treatment needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
• Follow all federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality.
• Respond appropriately to urgent or crisis situations.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Bluff Recovery, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Augusta, GA.

This PRN position provides flexibility with day and night shift opportunities while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults receiving treatment for substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions.

You’ll provide safe, compassionate, person-centered nursing care while supporting clients throughout their treatment and recovery.

• Reliable transportation required.
