Pyramid Healthcare’s Bluff Recovery location in Augusta, GA is seeking a compassionate PRN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. The role offers day and night shift options and supports adults in treatment for substance use and mental health conditions.

As a PRN nurse, you will provide safe, person-centered nursing care, perform admissions assessments, administer medications, and assist with detox protocols.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Georgia LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, detox, or co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Active, unencumbered Georgia RN license (if RN role).
• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments for new admissions.
• Administer medications and follow detox/withdrawal protocols.
• Perform COWS and CIWA assessments as clinically appropriate.
• Monitor clients and communicate changes to the medical team.
• Provide medication education and general health education to clients.
• Support medical providers with assessments, medication management, and treatment needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
• Follow all federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality.
• Respond to urgent or crisis situations.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Bluff Recovery, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Augusta, GA.

This PRN position provides flexibility with day and night shift opportunities while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults receiving treatment for substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions.

You’ll provide safe, compassionate, person-centered nursing care while supporting clients throughout their treatment and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Complete nursing assessments for new admissions.

Administer medications and follow established detoxification and withdrawal management protocols.

Provide medication education and general health education to clients.

Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications.

Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, detox, or co-occurring disorders preferred.
