Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Neurosurgical care. You will support a 36-bed unit, participate in magnet-level patient care, and collaborate with a skilled neurosurgical team on spine, brain, and stroke cases.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas, BCLS, CPI within 90 days, NIHSS within 90 days, and 1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN residency. On-site, full-time night shift with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Nursing license or compact license recognized by Texas Board of Nursing on hire.
• BCLS before independent patient care and quarterly maintenance.
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS certification within 90 days of hire.

Work hours: Full Time 7:00 pm – 7:00 am- Rotating Weekends/Holidays

Here’s What You Need

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
• BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire required
• NIHSS -National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire required
• 1 Year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• Current neuro surgical RN experience strongly preferred
