MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Nurse Specialist to provide skilled, patient-centered care throughout the procedural journey. The ideal candidate will hold an RN license in DC, have 1–2 years of IR/cath lab/ICU/ED experience, and be proficient in cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia
Responsible for patient assessment pre and intra procedural care of patients undergoing invasive procedures or sedation in the Department of Radiology. This is accomplished according to an established plan of care under the direction of the Director of Operations and Radiology Nurse Coordinator in charge of Nursing who is a licensed Registered Nurse. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards.
