Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Interventional Radiology department at Miami Valley Hospital. This part-time shift (7:00am–8:30am start; 48 hours per pay) emphasizes professional nursing, coordination of care, and evidence-based practice.

The RN will maintain high standards for a busy caseload, comply with regulatory requirements, and support patients and families with physical, emotional, and spiritual care. Ohio RN licensure is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of ER/critical care hospital RN experience required.
• Valid Ohio RN license.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to a caseload of patients in Interventional Radiology according to scope of practice and evidence-based principles.
• Coordinate and direct care delivered by the interdisciplinary team.

The clinical nurse (CN) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing. The CN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The CN also coordinates/directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The CN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The CN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts the patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others.
