Job summary

Premier Health Partners in Dayton, OH, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Heart & Vascular ICU at Miami Valley Hospital. This full-time role offers a 7am–7:30pm shift with 72 hours per pay and includes a sign-on bonus.

You will deliver advanced nursing care and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Ideal candidates have 1 year of ICU or ED RN experience, a valid Ohio RN license, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid Ohio RN license.
• 1 year of current ICU or Emergency Dept RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains high standards for a caseload per area scope of practice.

The clinical nurse (CN) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing. The CN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The CN also coordinates/directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The CN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The CN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts the patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid Ohio RN license

Experience: 1 year of current ICU or Emergency Dept RN experience is required.
