Advocate Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Interventional Radiology suite in Chicago, IL. The role is part-time with two 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, plus on-call after hours, holidays, and weekends.

The RN will care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing invasive procedures from preop to post op in a collaborative team setting. Requirements include an accredited nursing program, Illinois RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years of nursing

Where You Will Work

As a Nurse in the Special Procedures Interventional Radiology Suites, you will be responsible for both inpatient and outpatient care to patients requiring invasive procedures from preop to post op in a team environment.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing


• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois


• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS


• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferably in Critical Care, ED, PACU


• Ability to take call

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.


• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
