Job summary

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Progressive Care Unit. This full-time position involves delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a 42-bed unit, focusing on continuous monitoring and cardiac care.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• One year of acute cardiovascular care experience preferred.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Registered Nurse (RN) -- Progressive Care / Intermediate Medical Care (IMC)

Job Type: Full-time | Variable 12‑hour shifts w/EOW

Up to $20,000 Sign‑on Bonus

About our team

42‑bed PCU/IMC caring for higher‑acuity adult and geriatric patients requiring continuous monitoring and cardiac care. RNs deliver hands‑on, team‑based care on 12‑hour shifts (7A‑7P).

How you’ll contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

What we’re looking for
