RWJBarnabas Health is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Coronary Care unit at RWJ Somerset in Somerville, NJ. This part-time, day-shift role includes a 36-hour work week with rotating weekends and holidays in a fast-paced unit dedicated to cardiac care.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, document in EPIC, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while pursuing ongoing education and career advancement within RWJBarnabas Health.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ASN or Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred and encouraged to complete BSN within five years.
• 1–2 years of Critical Care nursing experience.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) is preferred.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. ASN or Nursing diploma required. If candidate possesses ASN or Nursing diploma, must agree to complete BSN within five years of hire date. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. 1-2 years of Critical Care nursing.

This position offers a consistent 36 hours per week on day shift with required rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as well as rotating holidays, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
