MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. This 12-bed ICU handles a wide range of diagnoses and operates in a Magnet-recognized setting between Washington, DC and Baltimore.

Nurses work 12-hour day or night shifts and participate in self-scheduling. Required qualifications include ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL, at least one year of ICU experience, and an active RN license with BLS.

Formación

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of one year of ICU experience.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and BLS required.

The MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is a 120-bed full-service ANCC Magnet-recognized facility located in the historic enclave of Olney Maryland, situated nearly equally between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore Maryland, and is part of the 10-hospital MedStar Health system. The 12-bed ICU admits a wide array of patient diagnoses ranging from neuro, cardiac, G.I., renal and vascular ailments, to post-operative procedures. As part of an American Heart Association Gold-Plus Certified Primary Stroke Center, the ICU also manages patients recovering from acute strokes including those who have received thrombolytic therapy. Nurses work 12-hour day or night shifts (non-rotating) and participate in self-scheduling. Nurses are supported each shift with a dedicated charge nurse. Positions Available: Full-time: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Minimum of one year of ICU experience required
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
