Ardent Health Services seeks a Night shift, full-time Inpatient Specialty Post-Surgical Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. The role requires hands-on patient care on a medical-surgical unit and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

The RN must hold an Associate's degree in nursing, an active Oklahoma RN license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and facility policies.
• Assist with care planning and updates to the plan of care as patient needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree in nursing
• Current Oklahoma RN Licensure
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
