Job summary

System Support is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Rehab department at Upper Valley Medical Center. The role requires providing patient-centered care across the life span, collaborating with the healthcare team, and practicing evidence-based nursing with ethical standards.

Requirements include a valid Ohio RN license, current BLS at hire, and a minimum of 1 year in acute care. BSN preferred. Shift: variable; hospital setting; compensation and benefits per hospital policy.

Facility: Upper Valley Medical Center

Practices professional nursing care in an autonomous manner supported by evidenced-based practice, professional standards of care, and code of ethics. Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social and cultural diversity. The Registered Nurse manages the nursing care in an interdisciplinary manner, in collaboration with the healthcare team, family, and significant other. Integrates the Collaborative Model of Care with a strong focus on patient-centered care into daily practice.

Education

Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Valid Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification required at the time of hire.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital RN experience is required.

Knowledge/Skills
