Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to care for critically ill adults in a state-of-the-art ICU in Maine.

You will provide direct patient care on 12-hour day shifts, participate in weekend and holiday rotations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and well-being. Active Maine RN license or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Maine or the ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care preferred.
• Prior or recent critical care experience preferred.
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, MOAB are advantageous.

Role:

Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing direct care to critically ill adult patients in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on assessments to optimize outcomes; monitors and documents patient conditions; collaborates across disciplines for coordinated care, transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support; educates patients and families tailored to their needs; delegates tasks to ancillary staff and may precept students or new hires.

Qualifications & Skills:

Active RN licensure in Maine or ability to obtain; minimum of 1 year RN experience in acute care preferred; prior/recent critical care experience preferred; certifications such as BLS, ACLS, MOAB are advantageous.
