Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking aRegistered Nurse for the Inpatient Acute Rehab unit. The role involves delivering safe, patient-centered care during night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am) with rotating weekends in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Ideal candidates hold a valid State RN license, BLS certification, and BSN is preferred. ACLS within 30 days of hire is required; a comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• BSN degree preferred.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within the scope of practice using the nursing process.
• Guide patient/family teaching and supervise nursing staff while maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Physical Rehabilitation Department. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Facility Specific Requirements (as Applicable, Required)

• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
